Upon picking up your keys at rental desk exit airport terminal and turn left, after approx 50 meters you will come to a pedestrian crossing go straight cross and enter car park you are now in the car rental pick up car park. Alamo/National cars parked in rows E and D.

ON DEPARTURE/RETURNING YOUR VEHICLE
When returning vehicle please drop car off in same car park you picked up from only drop car in row I beside our returns hut. If returning between the hours of 17.00 21.30 on Thur, Fri and between the hours of 16.00-21.30 you may return keys to check in facility located in our returns area of the car park.

DEPARTURE OUTSIDE OFFICE HOURS
If returning before branch opening hours drop keys in drop box located on top of the rental desk (left hand side). Airport closes at the same time branch returning after 21.30 is not possible.

Belfast City Airport was renamed after the famous footballer George Best Belfast City Airport in 2006. Flybe is one of the mail airlines which use the airport.
The airport can be reached by A2 Sydenham-by-pass. You can also catch a train which will drop you off at the Sydenham Railway Station which is close to the old passenger terminal where a shuttle bus will transport all passengers to the airport.

Belfast City Airport arrivals and departures can be found on the airport information page of the website belfastcityairport. Airplanes can generally only land during hours of 0630 and 2130.

The city airport is now known as George Best Belfast City Airport after its famous footballer.

Taxis

Buses
The city hall in the center can be reached by catching the number three bus. The time table for the bus is fairly frequent through out the day. Passengers are advised that a short walk to the train station. The train station is based at Sydenham which is roughly a five minute walk away from the terminal building.

Trains
The terminal building does not have a train station located inside its building. The train station at Sydenham can be caught by passengers by taking a coach shuttle to the train station. Connections to other destinations in Eire or elsewhere in Northern Ireland can be made by catching a twice hourly train.

Car
The city centre can be reached in around 10 minutes from the airport. Drivers wishing to visit the city by van can do so as it is fairly close by at around 3 and half miles away. Once you leave the airport join the A2 that is the Sydeham Bypass then join the A20 which will lead you and your rental car into Belfast City Centre.
