Airport located 18 kilometers (11 miles) southeast of Vienna, is the busiest and
biggest airport in Austria. It is often referred to as Schwechat, the name of
the nearby town. The airport is capable of handling wide-body aircraft such as

Partners will move to the new Terminal. In only 16 minutes the City Airport
Train takes passengers non-stop from the City Air Terminal to Vienna
International Airport. The CAT operates daily from 05:38 to 00:05. Check-in at
City Air Terminal is located only ten minutes away from St. Stephen's Cathedral
at the Wien-Mitte transport interchange, next to the Vienna Hilton Hotel. It can
be reached by underground, bus, tram or taxi. You can check-in, get your
boarding-pass and can proceed to your gate after you arrive at the airport. The
sleek interior design and extra-large First Class seats aboard the City Airport
Train create a relaxing atmosphere in double-decker carriages with extra-wide
aisles and luggage racks. On-board information screens entertain with
