Humberside Airport is situated in North Lincolnshire, England, 10 nautical miles west of Grimsby and around 15 miles from both Kingston upon Hull and Scunthorpe, on the A18. It is a small international airport.
The airport faces competition for flights from East Midlands Airport , Robin Hood Airport Doncaster Sheffield which opened in 2005 and Leeds Bradford Airport , all of these airports offer a substantially wider range of scheduled flights than Humberside Airport. 516,000 scheduled and charter passengers were handled during 2006, a 13% increase over 2005, putting the airport in 29th position in the UK. The first five months of 2007 saw a modest reduction in passengers handled.
Humberside Airport is a small airport and is situated around ten miles from Grimsby and around 15 miles from Hull.
On a regular basis are flying clubs which are used on a situated at the airport. The North Sea gas industries also transport their staff to the platforms by helicopter from the airport.

The M1 motorway and Humber bridge are other access roads to the airport.
Bus
From the airport to other towns close such as Hull and Grimsby travellers can board the flyer coach from the airport. The coach has been called the Humble Flyer. The coach service is named as stagecoach and they work the X1 from the airport.
Train
Passengers can use the train station based at Barnety for onward connections to Doncaster and beyond.
