Customers should make their way to the rental desk situated in the Arrivals Hall.
ARRIVAL OUTSIDE OFFICE HOURS
In the event of any delays, a member of staff will meet them at the rental desk regardless of what time they arrive, provided they have a flight number.
Any out of hours MUST be confirmed by the branch, at a cost of £40.00 + VAT.
ON DEPARTURE/RETURNING YOUR VEHICLE
Vehicles should be returned to the dedicated Alamo/National return bays situated in the Car Hire Returns Car Park.
The vehicles should be parked, locked up and the keys taken to the Returns Office, also situated in the Car Hire Returns Car Park.
DROP OFF OUTSIDE OFFICE HOURS
Vehicles should be returned to the Car Hire Returns Car Park, locked up and the keys posted in the Out of Hours drop box situated to the right of the Returns Office.
Alternatively, keys can be placed in the Key Returns Chute which can be located on the Terminal desk.
SPECIAL NOTE
There is no courtesy transport available.

Birmingham Airport- Europcar Returns
Follow the sign post for ‘Car Hire Return’. Once you have parked your vehicle, take the keys to the Europcar desk in either terminal building.

The airport has published a master plan for its development up to 2030. This sets out details of changes to the terminals, airfield layout and off-site infrastructure. As with all large scale plans, the proposals are controversial, with opposition from environmentalists and local residents. In particular the requirement for a second parallel runway based on projected demand is disputed by opponents.
In June 2008 work began on the construction of the new ‘International Pier’. The new Pier will be a three storey construction; 240 metres long and 24 metres wide. Departing passengers will be accommodated on the top level, with arriving passengers on the middle level and office accommodation for airline and handling agents on the ground floor.
The new facility will provide air-bridged aircraft parking for seven wide-bodied aircraft and enough space to serve 13 smaller aircraft at any given time and will be capable of accommodating ‘next generation’ environmentally-efficient wide-bodied aircraft such as the Airbus A350 and the Boeing 787 ‘Dreamliner’ as well as the larger aircraft types such as the Boeing 777 and the Airbus A330 which currently serve the airport on a daily basis.

If you have forgotten to charge your mobiles before travelling you can use the pay phone and internet service. Lounge area can find both.
Passengers wishing to do some last minute shopping can find a variety of stores offering various services. Friends and relatives can still be bought accessories and gifts from the airport. Beauty products can be bought for yourself if you have any spending money left over before flying. Games and amusements can be used to keep the teenagers busy before flying. They can be found opposite Starbucks Coffee shop.
